Hi! May I introduce myself?
My name is Nadja Pentzlin. I am convinced that cities offer interesting details that are worth knowing and taking a closer look at. And that your creativity will help to discover the culture of a city with curiosity, enthusiasm and astonishment. Therefore, I pursue the goal of creating unforgettable group experiences that not only inform but, above all, bring fun and enjoyment to the team!
From Indoors to Outdoor!
I studied history, and my doctorate in Reformation history led me to initiate my own project for the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther’s posting of the 95 theses in 2017. With my indoor puzzle game “Escape&Museum Speyer” I created a new history experience in a live escape room from October 2015 to the end of February 2018. My project was very successful: it was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by TripAdvisor and rated as the TOP excursion destination for the federal state of the Rhineland-Palatinate by FamilyCheck. By developing the Lutherbox – a cube-shaped box with a rotatable inner life to puzzle over together – I committed myself to another playful-creative innovation to help shape the Reformation anniversary.
Why not place the guesswork outdoors when it is fun and makes you ready for more indoors? I answered this question by introducing the city puzzle game “City&Quest Speyer”. As with the indoor game, clever combining, skill and teamwork are also required here in order to master tricky tasks with the help of a smartphone and puzzle bag. In 2016, together with my husband Felix, I designed the first game in Speyer. Games in Heidelberg, Mainz and my hometown Ingolstadt followed. In each city, I co-operate with centrally located partners who take care of the bag rental. At this point, I would like to thank all co-operation partners for their dedicated support.
Have fun with City&Quest – I am very much looking forward to your feedback 😉
