Hi, I’m Nadja!
I turn cities into playgrounds. Together with your team, I help you discover hidden gems that others just walk past. Because solving puzzles, searching, and discovering together is what true team spirit is made of.
With City&Quest, you will experience the city in a whole new way: playful, creative, and packed with fun.

On course for success together (from left to right): Bastian Hoffmann (Head of Cathedral Information), Dr. Nadja Pentzlin, Jörg Dörr (Head of Tourist Information), and Mario Daum (Head of Economic Development).
🥳 10 Years of City&Quest in Speyer!
Hard to believe, but true: Our very first City&Quest game in Speyer is turning 10 years old! Since day one, we have been able to look back on a fantastic and trusting cooperation with the Tourist Information. A huge thank you for a wonderful decade of successful partnership!
Of course, we used the time to keep being creative, and we are thrilled to present our specially developed Cathedral Rally: "City&Quest Kaiserdom". We are incredibly proud and happy to have won the Cathedral Information over as another strong partner by our side for this project.
Here’s to the next 10 years of puzzle-solving fun!

My Indoor Puzzle Game “Escape&Museum”
I love history – so much so that I hold a PhD in it. But instead of sticking to theory, I wanted to bring history to life. That’s why I launched my own project for the Luther Jubilee in 2017, transforming history into a real live experience with “Escape&Museum Speyer”.
And it was a huge success: The game was awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence and named a TOP Destination for Rhineland-Palatinate! Since puzzle fever is highly contagious, the journey didn’t stop there: With the Lutherbox – a clever, cube-shaped puzzle box – I created a mobile game that makes the history of the Reformation Anniversary playfully tangible.
My Outdoor Puzzle Game “City&Quest”
Why only enjoy puzzle-solving indoors? That’s exactly what I asked myself – and moved the answer right outside with City&Quest! The principle remains the same: sharp deduction skills, teamwork, and a whole lot of fun are needed to solve tricky challenges.
What started in 2016 as a family project with our very first city rally in Speyer has become a real success story today. Together with my husband and our children, we brought the game to the streets – from Heidelberg, Mainz, and my hometown of Ingolstadt, to Karlsruhe, Wiesbaden, Worms, and Trier, and all the way to Frankfurt, Nuremberg, and Würzburg.
A huge thank you goes to our fantastic local partners who ensure everything runs smoothly, as well as to Isabelle’s French Academy, thanks to whom you can even solve puzzles in French in Speyer, Karlsruhe, Trier, and Mainz.
Ready for your adventure? I look forward to your feedback!
Yours, Dr. Nadja Pentzlin
